Lights, music, and laughter filled the halls of South Whidbey Elementary as the South Whidbey Elementary PTA (SWEPTA) hosted the highly anticipated “My and My VIP Glow Party.” With UV black lights illuminating the space and glow party favors adorning the attendees, the event was an electrifying success that left kids buzzing with excitement.
From kindergarteners to fifth graders, children of all ages were welcomed to this vibrant celebration, turning the school into a neon wonderland. The event was so popular that tickets sold out, with many families eager to join in on the fun.
As the doors opened, the atmosphere crackled with energy. The beats of dance music filled the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Everywhere you looked, children were adorned with glow sticks, glow glasses, and necklaces, adding an extra sparkle to the festivities.
One of the highlights of the night was the glow bowling alley, where kids lined up eagerly to take their turn at striking down glowing pins under the UV lights. Cheers and high-fives echoed as strikes and spares were celebrated, making it clear that this game was a crowd favorite.
But the fun didn’t stop there. Face painting stations transformed eager faces into glowing works of art, while a selfie station captured memorable moments with friends and family, ensuring that everyone would have mementos to cherish long after the party ended.
Beyond the entertainment, “My and My VIP Glow Party” had a deeper purpose. SWEPTA had set a fundraising goal of $1,200 to support educational events and initiatives at South Whidbey Elementary, and thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, that goal was not just met, but exceeded.
However, the true measure of success lay in the joy and excitement on the faces of the children who attended. As they danced, played, and laughed together, it was clear that “My and My VIP Glow Party” had created lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to be a part of it.
